Reliance on Arctic Sea Corridors ... Opportunities and Challenges

The paper focuses on the increasing use of Arctic corridors as a navigation artery to connect East and West over the past years, it tackles the advantages they offer compared to traditional lanes, like short trip period and the low fuel consumption cost. On the other hand there are challenges facing those corridors, may diminish dependence on it.

However, it is likely that reliance on it will increase significantly in the future, but this will result in escalating complications among the polar states, which may push them to coordinate to maximize the mutual benefit of those corridors.
