Developments of the political crisis in Sudan:
The article analyzes the last agreement between the transitional military council in Sudan and “the forces of freedom and change”; that has been convened in the 17th of July 2019.
And starting from some factors that the researcher has found influential in the path that the agreement has taken, some main consequences have to be referred to; these are:
- The success of the African Ethiopian mediation efforts in the conciliation of the contradicting points of view in a single agreement.
- Blurring the differences between the forces of freedom and change themselves which has enabled them to introduce a unified political vision.
The agreement is supposed to strengthen the position of the transitional military council in Sudan in the face of any American movements in the direction of imposing sanctions on the former’s members, in addition it can push towards the removal of Sudan from the list of the state-sponsors of terrorism.
