On 12/20/2020, Tunisian authorities announced finding a person who was killed in the "Sultinia" in the state of Kasserine, in the west of the country, and media outlets said that the victim was a Shepherd, while no terrorist organization has yet adopted the operation.

There is a strong belief that the killing is a terrorist attack, If so, It will reinforce the strength of the progressive modernist parties against the conservative Islamic parties. It will also push the security and intelligence services in Tunisia and Algeria to intensify their joint coordination in chasing the terrorists along the borders in the coming period.
